Steeles Ave Pole Line Design

During this project, we worked with our utility client and neighboring utility to prepare the engineering design for the expansion of two dedicated feeders to approximately 7km of pole line. Work included the engineering design to utilize the existing pole line to re frame the poles and add two additional circuits. Work included the detailed design and specifications of switches, primary metering units, conductors etc. and calculated pole loading using SPIDACalc software. We worked with our client and Hydro One to prepare permit drawings for existing crossing transmission lines at two locations within the boundaries of the project.
