Trafalgar Road Pole Line Relocation

HSN Engineering worked with our utility client to prepare the engineering design to relocate over 120 utility poles (approximately 4 km pole line) on Trafalgar Road to allow for the proposed road widening of this major regional road.

The Engineering design included H1 class poles and 4 primary distribution circuits, all associated guying and anchoring, distribution transformers, stepdown transformers to maintain the lower distribution system voltage at particular system locations, and all secondary services to residential and commercial customers. Pole loading calculations were performed using SPIDACalc software using the specific client file. The engineering design included the reconfiguration of several distribution circuits including a 44KV sub transmission circuit supplying a distribution transformer station.
